Registration “How-To”

PINKS with a TWIST

Canadian Cancer Society

· Visit http://www.racewaypark.biz Click on “PINKS with a TWIST” link in the “Special Race Events” menu on the left column.

· Click on the “Register to donate to PINKS with a TWIST” link

· If you wish to associate your donations to your race team or car number, you can specify this under the “Company” section. If you do not wish to associate your donations with your race team or car number, select “Choose an existing value”

· Enter your fund-raising goal, if any.

· Click “Next Step”

· Select “New User”

· Click “Next Step”

· Fill out your contact information:

· Click “Next Step”

· Read the Canadian Cancer Society waiver

· Check “I agree with the terms and conditions above” and Click “Next Step”

· Verify that your information is correct

· Click on “Complete Registration”

You will then be presented with confirmation that you have successfully registered.

· Click on the “Participant center login” Logo at the top right of the page.

You will be taken to your own personal participant center. From here, you will be able to keep track of your goals, donations and information.

Along the top of the page, you will see a blue toolbar.

· In the toolbar, click on “Edit Personal Page”

You will be presented with the tools needed to update your own personal web page and content.

In the right column on the screen, you will see the 3 components of your website. The CONTENT, PHOTOS/VIDEO and COMPONENTS.

In the CONTENT section, pictured above, you can write a short blurb about yourself, team or family. You may want to include any stories about how Cancer or the Canadian Cancer Society has touched your life. You may also want to include some of your racing background. However the content presented here is completely up to your own discretion!

The PHOTOS/VIDEO section, you can upload a picture or short video to go along with your website.

The COMPONENTS section controls what components you want visible on your site. These components include a graph for your progress and a place to list all of your supporters.

At any time during the editing of your website, you can see what it looks like by clicking on the “View personal page” link at the top of the blue toolbar.

The link to your personal website is shown at the top of the “Edit Personal Page” section

You may share this link with anyone you wish. This link will also be posted on Raceway Park’s Website (http://www.racewaypark.biz) for everyone to see. You can also direct your supporters there.
